What is post-surgery rehab?
Recovery from surgery is the most important — and most often under-prioritized — phase of care. We coordinate directly with your surgeon's protocol, manage early-phase swelling and pain, restore range of motion safely, and build the strength you need to get back to life. Whether it's an ACL reconstruction or a microdiscectomy, the right rehab plan turns a surgical fix into long-term recovery.
Common conditions we treat
- ACL, MCL, and meniscus repair or reconstruction
- Rotator cuff repair
- Labral repair (shoulder, hip)
- Microdiscectomy and laminectomy (spine)
- Spinal fusion
- Achilles tendon repair
- Bunion and foot/ankle surgery
- Hand and wrist surgery
What to expect
- Pre-surgical (pre-hab) visits when possible — stronger going in means faster recovery coming out
- Early-phase: swelling and pain control, gentle range of motion, gait re-training if needed
- Mid-phase: strength rebuilding, neuromuscular control, coordination with your surgeon's milestones
- Late-phase: return-to-activity testing and progression — sport, work, or daily life
