What is chronic pain?
Pain that's been around for months or years isn't just "acute pain that lasted longer" — it involves changes in how the nervous system processes signals from the affected area. We treat chronic pain with a combination of education, graded exposure to movement, hands-on work to settle the painful area, and progressive strength to restore function. The goal isn't pain elimination on day one. It's regaining the activities that pain has taken away.
Common conditions we treat
- Chronic low back pain
- Persistent neck pain and headaches
- Recurring sciatica
- Long-standing shoulder pain
- Knee and hip pain not from a recent injury
- Persistent plantar fasciitis or foot pain
- Post-injury pain that won't fully resolve
- Pain following failed prior PT or other treatment
What to expect
